FUNDING AND PAYMENTS

Word Play Paediatric Speech Pathology accepts clients who are privately paying, NDIS self-managed, or NDIS plan-managed. 

See below for details and additional funding options. 

PRIVATELY PAYING

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
Privately paying clients are those who do not have additional funding and therefore pay the full session fee out of pocket. 

HOW IS PAYMENT PROCESSED?
An invoice will be emailed to the client, with payment required within 5 days of the session.  

NDIS PARTICIPANTS

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
Clients with NDIS funding who are self-managed or plan-managed. Please note that Word Play Paediatric Speech Pathology can not offer services to NDIS participants who are NDIA managed. 

HOW IS PAYMENT PROCESSED?
For self-managed clients, an invoice will be emailed to the client, with payment required within 5 days of the session. The fee can then be claimed back through your NDIS portal. 

For plan-managed clients, an invoice will be emailed directly to your nominated plan manager service. 

MEDICARE CHRONIC DISEASE MANAGEMENT PLAN (CDMP)

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Clients with chronic/complex medical conditions who require a multidisciplinary approach to care. Your child's GP will decide whether they are eligible for a CDMP. 

WHAT IS INCLUDED?
Medicare will provide a rebate of $58 for a maximum of five sessions per calendar year.  

HOW IS PAYMENT PROCESSED?
An invoice will be emailed to the client, with payment required within 5 days of the session. A receipt will then be emailed to the client, which can then be used to claim the rebate through medicare. 
Clients are responsible for claiming their own rebates through medicare.
